Templates, landing pages and campaigns

A Gophish campaign ties four pieces together: a group of targets, an email template, a landing page, and a sending profile.

1. Email template

Create a template under Email Templates. Import an existing HTML email or write your own, and use variables such as {{.FirstName}} and {{.URL}} so each target receives a personalized, trackable message.

2. Landing page

Build the page targets reach when they click. Gophish can clone a real page, optionally capture submitted data (for authorized tests only), and redirect to a teaching page afterwards.

3. Sending profile

Point the sending profile at the GophishMe free SMTP relay so your mail is accepted and captured for analysis — instead of getting your account banned by a consumer email provider.

4. Launch and measure

Create the campaign, pick your group, template, landing page and sending profile, then launch. Gophish tracks opens, clicks and submissions in real time so you can measure behaviour and report results.

Only run phishing simulations against systems and people you are explicitly authorized to test.
